About the Role

We are looking for a detail-oriented and proactive Assistant Manager – PPC to manage production planning, material planning, inventory coordination, and production scheduling. The ideal candidate should ensure smooth production flow, optimum inventory levels, and on-time delivery while coordinating closely with Production, Purchase, Stores, SCM, and Sales teams.

Key Responsibilities

Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly production plans.

Monitor production schedules and ensure adherence to delivery timelines.

Coordinate with Purchase and Stores to ensure timely material availability.

Plan and monitor raw material, WIP, and finished goods inventory.

Track material shortages and proactively resolve production bottlenecks.

Release and monitor production orders through ERP.

Coordinate with Production, Quality, SCM, and Sales for smooth execution.

Analyze production capacity and improve resource utilization.

Maintain accurate planning data, BOMs, and ERP records.

Generate daily MIS reports and planning dashboards.





Identify opportunities to reduce inventory and improve planning efficiency.

Support continuous improvement initiatives across manufacturing operations.

Skills Required

Strong knowledge of Production Planning & Control (PPC)

Good understanding of MRP, inventory management, and production scheduling

ERP experience (SAP, Oracle, Microsoft Dynamics, or similar)

Advanced Microsoft Excel

Strong analytical and problem-solving skills

Excellent coordination and communication skills

Ability to work in a quick-paced manufacturing environment

Qualification

B.E./B.Tech in Mechanical, Production, Industrial, Electrical, or Electronics Engineering.

Preferred Industry

Manufacturing, Consumer Durables, Electrical, Electronics, Engineering, Automotive Components, or Industrial Products.
