Design Engineer (3D Implants | Patient-Specific Implants (PSI) | Maxillofacial Implants)

- Design and develop Patient-Specific Implants (PSIs), Surgical Guides, and Anatomical Models based on patient CT/MRI/DICOM data.
- Perform 3D segmentation, anatomical reconstruction, and modelling using specialized medical CAD software.
- Create customized implant designs for Cranio-Maxillofacial (CMF), Orthopedic, Trauma, and Reconstructive surgical procedures.
- Interpret clinical requirements and translate them into accurate, manufacturable implant designs.
- Collaborate closely with surgeons, clinical application engineers, and cross-functional teams to understand case-specific requirements.
- Modify and optimize implant designs based on surgeon feedback and clinical reviews until final approval.
- Ensure implant designs comply with anatomical accuracy, surgical objectives, and manufacturing feasibility.
- Prepare detailed CAD models, engineering drawings, and technical documentation for production.
- Coordinate with manufacturing and 3D printing teams to ensure seamless execution of approved designs.




- Validate implant geometry, fitment, fixation strategy, and screw trajectories before manufacturing.
- Support prototype development, design verification, and product validation activities.
- Maintain complete documentation, revision history, and design records for every clinical case.
- Ensure compliance with company SOPs, quality standards, and applicable medical device regulations.
- Manage multiple patient-specific cases simultaneously while meeting project timelines and quality expectations.
- Stay updated with the latest advancements in medical 3D printing, CAD technologies, biomaterials, and patient-specific implant solutions.
- Participate in design reviews, technical discussions, product improvement initiatives, and continuous innovation projects.
- Provide technical support to internal teams during production, quality checks, and post-design implementation.
- Maintain confidentiality of patient data and adhere to all data privacy and regulatory requirements.
