- Typically, the Messaging Services Advisor is the Subject Matter Expert (SME) with Microsoft SharePoint and One Drive. Additionally, should have proficiency in Microsoft Exchange, Office 365 within Unified Messaging and Communication.
- Positive understanding and knowledge on Boundary Services, Relay server management, Ironport & Archiving solutions and Microsoft Teams.
- Advice on support and maintenance of the Microsoft Office 365
- Advises team in the maintenance tasks associated with the support, modification and updation of Messaging software systems. Works with more senior team members in performing patching, upgrades, etc.
- Administrator who specialized in Exchange On Premise (2013 to 2019), Exchange Online and Boundary Services (EOP, ATP, ProofPoint and Cisco IronPort)
- Administrator should also have generalized knowledge in other Office 365 core applications such as SharePoint, OneDrive and MS Teams
- Handles day-to-day Incident and Request management tasks
- Is responsible for identifying and contributing to automation solutions (e.g.: PowerShell coding)
- Extensive and thorough knowledge on Outlook, OWA Client related issues.
Basic Qualification
- Minimum 8+ years of experience supporting multifarious Messaging environment
- Expert knowledge on different versions of Exchange
- Expert knowledge on Microsoft Office 365
- Good working knowledge on Boundary Services, Relay server management & archiving solutions
- Good working knowledge on Ironport administration and perimeter e-mail filtering administration support
Degree: Engineering graduate or Bachelor of Computer Science with relevant Messaging technology work experience.
