Role & responsibilities

- Troubleshoot and resolve process, machine, and mold-related issues.
- Apply scientific injection moulding techniques ( cavity balance, pressurevolumetemperature relationship, gate setting, etc.) for process optimization.
- Select and handle plastic raw materials (prime & reprocessed) with knowledge of their properties, drying requirements, shrinkage, flow behavior, and additives.
- Monitor machine parameters, screw/barrel combinations, and ensure optimal utilization.
- Work closely with quality, maintenance, and tool room teams to ensure smooth operations.
- Support new product trials, mold validation, and first-off approval.
- Implement lean manufacturing practices (5S, Kaizen, SMED, Poka-Yoke).




- Train and mentor production engineers and operators on machine basics and scientific molding.
- Ensure safety and compliance standards are followed.

Preferred candidate profile

- Solid knowledge of injection molding process and troubleshooting.
- Understanding of material science (PP, ABS, Nylon, PC, filled/unfilled grades, etc.).
- Basic knowledge of machine operation (clamping, injection unit, screw design, barrel heating, mold setting).
- Problem-solving and analytical thinking.
- Team leadership and communication.
- Proficiency in MS Office and ERP.
