Job Summary
We are looking for a skilled Automation Engineer with a strong background in automation testing. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in automation frameworks, be proficient in programming languages, and actively contribute to improving product quality within an Agile environment.
Key Responsibilities
Identify testing requirements during sprint cycles and ensure timely execution.
Perform manual testing and develop automation scripts for new and existing features.
Build and maintain automation frameworks using tools like Selenium and Cucumber.
Execute various types of testing including Unit, Functional, API, and Load testing.
Analyze test results, log defects, and track them to closure.
Ensure product quality through thorough validation and verification processes.
Participate in performance and load testing activities.
Work closely with development and product teams in an Agile workplace.
Participate in sprint planning, stand-ups, and retrospectives.
Review QA processes and suggest improvements to enhance efficiency and eliminate redundancies.
Assist in planning, creating, and managing test environments and test data.
Ensure readiness of test setups for execution
Required Skills
6+ years of experience in Quality Engineering roles.
1+ years of experience in Java, Javascript or c#.
Hands-on experience with:
o Selenium
o Cucumber
o Postman
o IDEs (Eclipse, IntelliJ, VS Code, etc.)
Strong understanding of automation testing frameworks.
Experience in writing and maintaining automation test scripts.
Exposure to:
o Unit Testing
o Functional Testing
o API Testing
o Load/Performance Testing
