Job Description

- (Technical Writing, Communications, Graphics, English, or equivalent.)
- 1-5 years of aftermarket experience with the truck or transportation industry.
- 1-5 years of experience in writing mechanical, electrical, and technical documentation within the automotive segment.
- Automotive knowledge (Conventional Vehicle Sound knowledge).
- Experience with and knowledge of various software packages including word processing, SGML language, CAD Software (Pro-Engineer, Catia, etc.), and vector-based illustration software (Corel Draw, Adobe Illustrator, etc.).
- Knowledge of different graphic file format conversion types and methods
- Solid writing and communication skills.
- Interpersonal and analytical skills.
- Project management skills, including project planning and oversight as it pertains to technical information development.
- Comprehensive knowledge of Commercial vehicle products is ideal but not mandatory.
- Completed adequate training for operation on electrical installations in vehicles according to standard STD 871-0003.
