- Data Preparation and Analysis: Prepare, clean, and scrub data for analysis using tools like SQL and Excel. Geocode exposures and ensure accurate implementation of modelling assumptions. Set up catastrophe models with correct parameters to quantify potential losses.
- Catastrophe Modelling: Use leading catastrophe models (RMS RiskLink, AIR Touchstone, CoreLogic RQE) and proprietary Gallagher models to estimate losses. Conduct sensitivity analyses to understand how changes in inputs affect model outputs. Run customised peril analyses using proprietary tools.
- Reporting and Visualisation: Generate exposure and loss summary reports using internal tools like iFM and WorkFlowManager. Create maps and visualisations using tools like SpatialKey and ArcGIS to present key insights. Answer natural catastrophe-related queries (SRQs) using internal tools and modelled losses.
- Project Leadership and Collaboration: Lead small to medium-complexity renewals independently, typically lasting 2 4 weeks.
Support senior team members on larger, more complex projects, which may span several months. Coordinate with onshore lead analysts to discuss progress, seek feedback, and ensure client satisfaction.
