Alembic Pharmaceuticals is looking for a Manager / Senior Manager Business Development to drive growth in our API CDMO business, focusing on regulated markets, particularly North America.

Location: Vadodara, Gujarat

Key Responsibilities

- Identify and develop new CDMO business opportunities for APIs and custom synthesis projects.
- Build and manage relationships with pharmaceutical and biotechnology customers.
- Lead customer engagement from opportunity identification to project commercialization.
- Coordinate with R&D;, Regulatory, Manufacturing, Quality, and Supply Chain teams for successful project execution.
- Manage RFIs, RFQs, proposals, commercial negotiations, and contract discussions.
- Develop market intelligence and track industry trends, competitors, and customer pipelines.




- Participate in international conferences, customer meetings, and business development initiatives.

Desired Profile

- B.Pharm, M.Pharm, M.Sc. Chemistry, or related Life Sciences qualification.
- 8 - 14 years of experience in API/CDMO Business Development, Custom Synthesis, International Marketing.
- Strong exposure to regulated markets, preferably USA, Canada, and other global markets.
- Valuable understanding of API development, manufacturing, and CMC processes.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills.
