Job Summary

The Professor of General Surgery will lead academic teaching, clinical services, research initiatives, and departmental administration while ensuring compliance with NMC norms and institutional standards.

Key Responsibilities

- Deliver undergraduate and postgraduate teaching in General Surgery.

- Conduct lectures, clinical teaching, case discussions, and assessments.

- Perform major and complex surgical procedures and supervise clinical care.

- Guide and mentor postgraduate residents and junior faculty.

- Lead departmental academic planning, audits, and quality improvement initiatives.

- Encourage and supervise research activities and publications.

- Participate actively in CMEs, conferences, and academic programs.

- Ensure adherence to NMC regulations and institutional policies.

Eligibility Criteria

- MS/DNB in General Surgery (NMC recognized).

- Teaching experience as per NMC norms for Professor.

- Required research publications in indexed journals.

- Valid registration with State Medical Council / NMC.

Job Summary

The Associate Professor will contribute to teaching, clinical services, and research activities within the Department of Surgery and support the academic vision of the institute.

Key Responsibilities

- Teach MBBS and postgraduate students through lectures and clinical demonstrations.

- Conduct surgical procedures and participate in patient care management.

- Assist in mentoring residents and junior faculty.

- Contribute to research activities and academic publications.
