Sr. Manager

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

- To achieve daily and weekly production target
- To achieve productivity norms by looking at manpower and processes
- Red bin analysis and counter measure
- To ensure QMS/EMS/OHSAS system at shop floor
- Ensure timely closure of NCR/ visit observation
- Do DWM meeting morning & sunset
- Review of work allocation of manpower in case of absenteeism/breakdown/quality issues/material shortage
- To ensure traceability and identification of each product
- To ensure resource availability for next day operation
- To achieve quality target of each product
- To ensure safety on the shop floor
- To ensure reduce attrition of Associates
- To review the hourly monitoring sheet every 2 hours and during end of shift and review the GAP analysis
- To reduce the scrap percentage
- To review and upgrade quality checks and norms
- Adherence to SOP
- To develop skill of subordinates
- To promote multi skilling




- To conduct/arrange training on technical and behavioral aspect
- To ensure availability of required documents for review and for audit
- To ensure all Poka Yoke are in place
- To promote 5 S and TEI ( Kaizen & SGA) throughout the shop floor
- MIS preparation and display
- Review of outcome of SPC study of critical process and make improvement
- To do cost reduction
- Updation of DWM board

Qualification

Degree in Mechanical Engg/ Dip

Experience

10-15 years

Tech/Func Skills

SPC, Takt time, Line balancing, Time & Motion study, Cycle time calculation, Understanding of machine behavior, understanding of PFD/ control plan/ PFMEA/ Assembly drawing

IT Skills

SAP, MS Office

Soft Skills

Team management, target oriented, interpersonal skill, time management, working under pressure , coordination with various functions, presentation skills, communication skills
