Job Summary We are seeking a Senior Engineer Associate with strong expertise in Computational Fluid Dynamics (CFD) to join our team in Bangalore. In this role, you will drive impactful global projects by harnessing advanced CFD and simulation skills, supporting both product and engineering needs. Key Responsibilities • Delivering high impact global projects via independent contributions and the team in the field of external aerodynamics, heat transfer and design optimization. • Understand the project requirements, plan and execute the projects with quality and in agreed upon timelines. • Assume responsibilities for the execution and delivery of assigned CFD projects with less supervision. • Provide solutions to complex problems using his computational, experimental and analytical skills. • Work on multiple high-priority projects simultaneously. • Should be working with cross functional and product teams on providing the design solutions • Work with global stake holders to win their trust and confidence. • Follow all standard work in place. • Willing to learn and adapt to new technologies. • Actively involve in new technology developments and POCs • Strictly adhere to organizational standard work and processes. • Be part of org initiatives and contribute in ensuring progressive, Diverse and inclusive environment imbibing Trane Technologies values and culture

- Required Skills

1. Masters degree in mechanical, Thermal, Aerospace or Applied Mechanics (or closely related field) with Fluid Mechanics/Heat transfer/ CFD as major area of research/work. He/she should have at least 7 years of experience in above mentioned areas preferably in Automotive/HVAC/Aerospace. 2. Solid fundamentals in fluid flow and heat transfer. 3. In-depth CFD experience. Must have independently handled complex fluid flow and heat transfer simulations especially in the areas of aerodynamics and CHT. 4. Hands on experience in pre-processing with tools such as Ansys Spaceclaim, Ansys Workbench mesh and Fluent Meshing. 5. Simulation tool experience such as Ansys Fluent and Ansys CFX. 6. Ability to work independently with minimum supervision. 7. Ability for detailed post processing and engineering judgement to provide design suggestions. 8. Prior work experience in Automotive or HVAC industry is preferred. 9.



Working knowledge of AI/ML and digital twin is preferred. 10. Experience in automation and scripting 11. Experience in battery thermal management is desirable 12. Exposure to multiphase and species transport simulations. 13. Python programming knowledge is desireable
