Job Summary:

The Finance, Accounts and Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A;) professional will play a pivotal role in managing financial performance, driving profitability, and supporting strategic business decisions in the Organisation. This position will focus on business finance, forecasting, budgeting, and performance tracking, while also assisting core accounting, controllership and statutory compliance to ensure the integrity of financial records and provide actionable insights to optimize operations and enhance revenue streams.

Key Responsibilities include:

1. Financial Planning and Analysis:

- Develop annual budgets, rolling forecasts, and long-term financial plans aligned with the Eggozs growth strategy.
- Monitor and analyze key performance metrics such as feed costs, production efficiency, distribution expenses, and sales volumes.
- Prepare detailed variance analysis to compare actual performance against budgets and forecasts.

2. Business Finance Support:

- Partner with Functional leaders (e.g., Operations, Supply Chain, Sales, and Marketing) to understand operations, assess financial implications, and improve profitability
- Analyze production costs, and inventory management to optimize cost structures

3. Financial Reporting and Decision Support:

- Co-partner the Annual Operating Plan (AOP) and long-term financial planning process
- Prepare financial reports, dashboards, and presentations for the Board and Senior Management
- Build agile financial models to simulate business scenarios and assess risks/opportunities to provide actionable insights on cost optimization, revenue generation, and capital allocation

4. Strategic Initiatives:

- Support new initiatives like capacity expansion, automation, or new product development
- Perform investment appraisals,



ROI analysis, and feasibility studies for capital expenditures and new ventures
- Conduct scenario analysis and sensitivity analysis to evaluate the impact of market changes, pricing strategies, including cost volatility and demand fluctuations

5. Accounting & Controllership:

- Assist with the maintenance of accurate and up-to-date books of accounts in line with applicable accounting standards (Ind AS) and ensure the integrity of the general ledger.
- Aid the team with the month-end and year-end close process, including provisioning, accruals, prepaids, and timely preparation of monthly MIS and financial statements (P&L;, Balance Sheet,

and Cash Flow).

- Strengthen internal financial controls, accounting policies, and standard operating procedures to safeguard company assets and ensure data accuracy.
- Support fundraising, due diligence, and investor reporting requirements with accurate financial data and schedules.

Desired Candidate Profile

- Chartered Accountant with proven experience (typically 7+ years) in Business Finance and / or FPCA roles
- Experience in accounting under Ind AS, along with working knowledge of GST, TDS, and Income Tax compliance would be preferrable
- Preferred industry experience in FMCG / Ecommerce / Startup setting
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making abilities.
- Strong understanding of financial principles, regulations, and reporting standards.
- Proficiency in financial software and advanced Excel skills
- Effective communication skills, both written and verbal
- Good stakeholder communication, engagement and management with the ability to convey complex financial information to non-financial stakeholders.
- Attention to detail and ability toprioritize tasks in a dynamic environment.
