Poornam Info Vision is looking for an Internal System Administrator to support and maintain the organization's IT infrastructure. The ideal candidate should have a strong foundation in Linux, Windows Server, networking, virtualization, and system administration, with a willingness to learn and grow in infrastructure and cloud technologies.

Roles & Responsibilities

- Install, configure, and maintain Linux and Windows servers.
- Support virtualization platforms such as Proxmox, VMware, or KVM.
- Monitor and troubleshoot network devices, including firewalls, routers, and switches.
- Manage user accounts and access through Active Directory or LDAP.
- Maintain internal infrastructure services, including DNS,



DHCP, Nginx/Apache, MySQL/MariaDB, and Mail Servers.
- Perform system updates, security patching, and backup activities.
- Monitor infrastructure health using Zabbix, Site24x7, or Nagios.
- Troubleshoot hardware, software, and network-related issues.
- Maintain technical documentation, configurations, and change records.
- Ensure compliance with IT security policies and operational best practices.

Desired Candidate Profile

- MCA or M.Sc. Computer Science.
- 1-3 years of experience in System, Server, or Network Administration.
- Exposure to Linux and Windows Server environments.
- Familiarity with virtualization technologies.
- Basic knowledge of scripting for automation.
- Good analytical, troubleshooting, and documentation skills.
- Ability to work independently as well as in a team environment.
- Eagerness to learn recent technologies and adapt to evolving IT infrastructure requirements.
