- Create 2D/3D CNC programs using CATIA V5 (Manufacturing Module).
- Develop machining strategies for 3-axis / 4-axis / 5-axis milling (as applicable).
- Select appropriate cutting tools, fixtures, and machining parameters.
- Optimize tool paths for cycle time, tool life, and surface finish.
- Generate setup sheets, tool lists, and machining documentation.
- Interpret engineering drawings, GD&T;, and 3D CAD models.
- Ensure programs meet dimensional accuracy and tolerance requirements.
- Identify manufacturability issues and propose design/process improvements.
- Standardize CAM templates, machining processes, and best practices.
- Participate in cycle time reduction and cost optimization initiatives.
- Stay updated with CATIA V5 upgrades, new tooling, and machining technologies.
