- Design and develop 3D models and assemblies using Autodesk Inventor.
- Prepare detailed manufacturing and fabrication drawings with GD&T; and standard tolerances.
- Create and maintain Bills of Materials (BOMs).
- Manage engineering drawings, revisions, and documentation using Autodesk Vault.
- Develop sheet metal, weldment, and assembly designs.
- Coordinate with Production, Purchase, and Quality teams to ensure manufacturability.
- Modify existing designs based on customer requirements and engineering changes.
- Ensure compliance with company standards and engineering best practices.
- Support prototype development, testing, and design improvements.
- Prepare technical documentation and maintain accurate design records.
- Participate in design reviews and provide technical solutions to engineering challenges.
- Ensure timely completion of assigned projects while maintaining quality standards.
Preferred candidate profile
- B.E./B.Tech in Mechanical Engineering.
- Strong hands-on experience with Autodesk Inventor.
- Good working knowledge of Autodesk Vault for document and revision management.
- Experience in sheet metal, fabrication, and welded structure design.
- Knowledge of mechanical design principles, manufacturing processes, and engineering standards.
- Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings.
- Good problem-solving, analytical, and communication skills.
- Ability to work independently as well as in a team workplace.
