Role Overview

We are looking for a Chartered Accountant to lead our Financial Controllership function, ensuring robust financial governance, statutory compliance, accurate financial reporting, and process excellence. This role is responsible for strengthening the organization's accounting framework, driving compliance with Ind AS, managing direct and indirect taxation, and establishing best-in-class financial controls while partnering with stakeholders across the business.

Key Responsibilities

- Lead the Financial Controllership function with complete ownership of accounting operations, financial governance, statutory reporting, and internal financial controls.
- Ensure accurate and timely preparation of financial statements in compliance with Indian Accounting Standards (Ind AS) and all applicable regulatory requirements.
- Drive monthly, quarterly, and annual financial closing processes while maintaining the highest standards of accounting accuracy and compliance.
- Manage direct and indirect taxation, including Income Tax, GST, TDS, assessments, audits, reconciliations, and statutory filings.
- Strengthen internal financial controls, risk management practices, SOPs, and governance frameworks to ensure regulatory compliance and operational efficiency.




- Collaborate with statutory auditors, internal auditors, tax consultants, and regulatory authorities to ensure smooth audit and compliance processes.
- Lead treasury accounting, balance sheet reconciliations, fixed asset accounting, provisions, accruals, and working capital reporting.
- Identify automation opportunities and leverage technology to streamline finance processes, improve reporting accuracy, and enhance operational efficiency.
- Mentor and develop the Accounts & Finance team while driving a culture of ownership, compliance, continuous improvement, and operational excellence.
- Partner with leadership on financial compliance matters, policy implementation, accounting impact assessments, and strategic finance initiatives.

Qualification

- Chartered Accountant (CA) Mandatory.
- 4-6 years of progressive experience in Financial Controllership, Accounting, and Finance.
- Strong expertise in Ind AS, financial reporting, accounting standards, and statutory compliance.
- Hands-on experience in direct and indirect taxation, audits, and regulatory compliance.
- Prior experience in technology, logistics, manufacturing, or high-growth organizations will be an added advantage.

Preferred Skills

- Solid knowledge of financial controls, accounting standards, and corporate compliance.
- Excellent understanding of GST, Income Tax, TDS, Companies Act, and related statutory regulations.
- Proficiency in ERP systems and advanced Microsoft Excel.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and stakeholder management skills.
- Ability to drive process improvements, automation, and finance transformation initiatives.
- High attention to detail with excellent leadership and team management capabilities.
