The Position:

Position Title: Lead Data Scientist

Location: Bangalore (On-site)

Experience: 5-8 years

Job Description:

- Understand business problems from an analytical and statistical standpoint and define problem statement(s).
- Identify data requirements and perform exploratory data analysis to discover trends and patterns.
- Perform pre-processing of structured and unstructured data.




- Build, evaluate, and improve predictive models and machine learning algorithms.
- Collaborate with engineering and product development teams for product enhancement.
- Identify statistical techniques to improve data engineering and model-building processes.
- Conduct research to improve machine learning model performance.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

- Masters in Statistics/Mathematics/OR/Economics or Bachelors in Engineering or MBA in Business Analytics/Data Science.
- Strong hands-on experience in Python is a must; PySpark and SQL preferred but not mandatory.
- 58 years of work experience in the BFSI domain.
- Strong communication and presentation skills.
- Research-oriented mindset with the ability to conduct independent research and validate findings.
- Solid applied statistics, mathematics, and algebra skills.
- Robust understanding of machine learning algorithms.
- Experience in supervised and unsupervised ML algorithms, neural networks, deep learning, and time-series forecasting.
