Role & responsibilities

- Develop accurate 3D models and detailed manufacturing drawings for furniture products.
- Create production-ready designs using SolidWorks (or other 3D CAD software).
- Prepare Bills of Materials (BOMs) and engineering documentation.
- Design furniture using solid wood, plywood, veneers, laminates, metal, glass, and hardware.
- Create detailed joinery, assembly, and exploded-view drawings.
- Collaborate with production, procurement, and quality teams to ensure designs are practical and manufacturable.
- Modify existing designs based on customer requirements, production feedback, or product improvements.
- Support prototype development and product testing.
- Maintain design revisions and engineering documentation.

Preferred candidate profile





- Diploma/B.E./B.Tech in Mechanical Engineering, Product Design, Furniture Design, or a related field.
- 25 years of experience in furniture or product design.
- Strong proficiency in SolidWorks (experience with AutoCAD is an added advantage).
- Good understanding of furniture construction, woodworking, joinery, and manufacturing processes.
- Knowledge of furniture materials, hardware, and fittings.
- Ability to create detailed production drawings with high accuracy.
- Solid problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
