Job Title - SAP ABAP Lead

Job Summary

We are looking for an experienced SAP ABAP Lead with 812+ years of experience to lead ABAP development across SAP ECC and S/4HANA environments. The ideal candidate should possess strong technical expertise, leadership capabilities, and hands-on experience in designing, developing, and delivering enterprise-grade SAP solutions.

Key Responsibilities

- Lead and govern ABAP development across SAP ECC and S/4HANA landscapes.
- Design, develop, and review RICEFW objects (Reports, Interfaces, Conversions, Enhancements, Forms, and Workflows).
- Develop high-quality, performance-optimized, and S/4HANA-compliant ABAP solutions.
- Conduct code reviews and ensure adherence to development standards and best practices.
- Prepare technical design documents, effort estimations, and delivery plans.
- Collaborate with functional consultants to understand and clarify business requirements.
- Develop and support integration using IDoc, RFC, BAPI, OData, SAP CPI, and SAP BTP.
- Support UAT, defect resolution, deployment, cutover, and hypercare activities.
- Mentor junior developers and provide technical leadership to offshore/onshore teams.




- Ensure compliance with SAP Clean Core principles, extensibility standards, and security guidelines.
- Required Skills & Experience

- 8 to 12 years of hands-on SAP ABAP development experience.
- Strong expertise in:

- ABAP Objects (OO-ABAP)
- CDS Views
- AMDP
- Open SQL
- User Exits, BADIs, and Enhancement Framework
- SmartForms and Adobe Forms

- Experience with SAP S/4HANA implementation, migration, or conversion projects.
- Working knowledge of SAP BTP, SAP CPI, and OData Services.
- Strong debugging and performance tuning skills.
- Experience with SAP Transport Management and DevOps practices.
- Proven experience leading technical teams and managing project delivery.

- Exposure to SAP Clean Core and side-by-side extensibility.
- Experience with SAP Fiori backend enablement.
- Knowledge of SAP Cloud ALM or SAP Solution Manager.
- Experience in AMS support or large-scale SAP transformation programs.
