Job Role: Data Engineer Run & Support

Experience & Education:

We are seeking a Data Engineer with 5 years of experience to support and enhance our data platforms in a fast paced and rapidly evolving analytics workplace.

The role focuses on maintaining high quality data pipelines, ensuring reliable data consumption for business applications, and providing operational excellence across our ecosystem.

Summary of Job:

1. Develop, maintain, and optimize data integration and transformation pipelines using Informatica PowerCenter / Informatica Cloud (IICS), AWS Glue, and Spark.

2. Analyse existing data models and implement performance improvements to accelerate data

ingestion and consumption, particularly across AWS RedShift, S3, Informatica, and Tableau layers.

3. Build and evolve ETL/ELT pipelines and ensure datasets are structured, validated, and ready for business consumption in Tableau Data Source layer.

4. Support client and business applications in accessing platform data while enforcing data governance, security, and best practices.

5. Participate in platform monitoring, troubleshoot issues, debug data defects, and ensure system reliability and availability.

Required skills for this position.

dbt Development (AWS Redshift)

• Design, develop,



and maintain dbt models on Amazon Redshift

• Apply best practices including:

- Modular and scalable model design
- Testing and documentation
- Data quality and freshness checks

• Manage dbt project configurations and environments

• Optimize performance and handle schema evolution

Ensure alignment with security and data governance standards

Primary Skills:

1. Strong hands on experience in Informatica PowerCenter / Informatica Cloud for enterprise ETL development.

2. At least 5 years of experience in data lake and BI development.

3. Solid expertise in SQL, relational databases, data warehouse, and data management concepts.

Preferred Knowledge:

1. Experience with AWS Big Data services (S3, RedShift, Glue, EMR/Spark).

2. Knowledge of data warehouse design, dimensional modelling, and BI data structures.

3. Experience using Tableau for reporting, visualization, and analytical insights.

Educational Requirements

Bachelors or Masters degree in computer science, Information Technology, Data Engineering, Software Engineering, or a related technical field.

Certification in Data Engineering, Data Warehousing, BI or Tableau, is preferred.
