Job description:

The Regional Project Director EPC Solar is responsible for end-to-end execution of multiple solar EPC projects within a defined region, ensuring timely delivery, cost control, quality, and safety compliance while coordinating with internal and external stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Project Execution & Delivery

- Responsibility for timely execution of multiple solar EPC projects across the assigned region
- Review on-time commissioning as per contractual milestones and handle any variance.
- Monitor resource deployment for optimal staffing and cost without compromising processes

and delivery.

- Drive issue resolution impacting schedule, cost, including ROW issues, state liaison and

quality.

2. Commercial & Cost Management

- Manager Regional office and staff, Monitor resource deployment for optimal staffing at

Projects and cost without compromising processes and delivery.

- Manage and control the Misc. site expense, Admin expense & security within approved

budget.

- Monitor project profitability and variance. Ensuring handling of stores inventory

management, Billing consumption, Bill Processing, Payment to vendor etc.

- Drive issue resolution impacting schedule, cost, including ROW issues, State level liaison and

stakeholder management.

- Coordinate with procurement for identification of qualified local vendors and subcontracting

decisions. Develop local vendors for supply and services.





- Ensure that all sites within the assigned region fulfil their contractual compliance and

manage claims / variations.

3. Stakeholder Management

- Interface with stakeholders like land team to ensure that sufficient land banks are available

to start the construction of the project.

- Coordinate with engineering for availability of design and drawing.
- During the handover of the site- oversee for all punch points and compliance closures

between O&M; and construction.

- Coordinate with state authorities, DISCOMs, and regulatory bodies.

4. Team Leadership

- Functional guidance to Project Directors, Construction Leads and Site Teams..
- Ensure proper manpower planning and deployment.
- Build high-performance execution teams.

5. Risk & Compliance Management

- Identify execution risks and mitigation plans.
- HSE (Health, Safety & Workplace) compliance and reporting
- Ensure inter-department coordination of the projects with H.O and Corporate office.

6. Planning & Monitoring

- Responsible for adherence of projects under the role to be on schedules as per PMO L1 & L2

schedules and milestones. Risk mitigation and alternate planning in case of variance.

- Conduct weekly and monthly project reviews of project sites within the region.
- Ensure inter-department coordination of the projects with H.O and Corporate office.
