Role & responsibilities

We are looking for a motivated and detail-oriented person to join our Global Sourcing team in the ophthalmic pharmaceutical sector. The role involves supporting procurement and sourcing activities for APIs, excipients, RLDs, consumables, packaging materials, and other pharmaceutical requirements from domestic and international suppliers.

Key Responsibilities:

Assist in global sourcing of APIs, excipients, RLDs, consumables, and packaging materials.

Coordinate with vendors, manufacturers, and internal departments for quotations, samples, and documentation.

Support supplier evaluation, comparison, and cost analysis.

Maintain procurement records, purchase data, and sourcing trackers.

Follow up on shipments, timelines, and material availability.

Assist in identifying alternate vendors and recent sourcing opportunities.

Ensure compliance with pharmaceutical quality and regulatory requirements.

Requirements:





Bachelors degree in Pharmacy, Life Sciences, Chemistry, Biotechnology, or related field.

Strong communication and coordination skills.

Good knowledge of MS Excel and basic analytical skills.

Eagerness to learn global pharmaceutical supply chain and sourcing operations.

Ability to work in a fast-paced and collaborative environment.

Must-Haves

- Basic Excel skills (VLOOKUP, Pivot Tables)
- Good communication (emails & vendor interaction)
- Analytical mindset (comparison, data interpretation)
- Understanding of sourcing process (RFQ PO basics)
- Basic supply chain knowledge

- Willingness to learn & adapt
- Time management & ownership

Preferred candidate profile

- Internship in procurement/SCM
- Basic knowledge of Incoterms (FOB, CIF)
