- Job Enquiry Handling and identifying the Welding Requirement such as any current metallurgy, Welding Process, Code and standards applicability.
- Estimation of Welding Consumable for each job, planning of Welding Process for each weld joint and raising PR. Monitoring the Consumable uses as job going on in shop.
- Study of job data sheet, Specification related to Welding NDE, Code Standard Requirement, and highlighting the points which are applicable to execute in shop floor. If something new like Welding process, material, Consumable then discuss with inter departmental for qualification and approval.
- Preparation of Welding documents like Weld book, PTC Procedure, NDE plan, Repair Plan and any specification Document Required by Client and submit it to client on time and get it approved from all parties AI, TPI, Client.
- New PQR Qualification, Consumable Batch Test, Welder Training and qualification, PTC Testing for these all interact with laboratory get it tested report and documented.
- ERP SAP Entering Welding data in SAP like Preparation of WPS, Seam Entry, WPS entry on seam, consumable transferring, AWS class filling,



NDE ID creation, NDE ID entry on Each seam.
- On regular basis Training provided to welder/operator which include welding requirement for specific job, consumable handling, Spot check to see job is going on as we had planned. If any change occurs during execution, then discuss with inter department and clients to resolve the problem.
- ISO, EN ASME Documentation auditing
- Development work Related to Welding like new material Qualification, process optimization, Work.
- Issue shop weld plan, PTP procedure and welding documents to shop as per plan.
- Spot check and On Job surveillance regularly.

Educational Qualifications Experience

- Diploma / B.E. / B. Tech Mechanical Engineering or Welding Technology.
