Responsibilities

- Lead end-to-end demand planning and forecasting activities for retail or consumer businesses
- Develop, review, and maintain statistical and judgmental demand forecasts across product categories
- Analyze historical sales, promotions, seasonality, and market trends to improve forecast accuracy
- Collaborate with sales, marketing, merchandising, and supply chain teams to align demand plans
- Support Sales & Operations Planning (S&OP;) and Integrated Business Planning (IBP) cycles
- Monitor and improve forecast accuracy, bias, and service level KPIs
- Identify demand risks and opportunities and recommend corrective actions
- Incorporate inputs from promotions, new product launches, and lifecycle changes into forecasts
- Provide insights and recommendations to support inventory optimization and availability
- Build and maintain demand planning reports and dashboards
- Support UAT, go-live, and post-implementation stabilization for planning tools
- Act as a subject-matter expert for demand planning best practices and methodologies
- Drive continuous improvement in planning processes and analytics

Requirements
- Minimum 3+ years of experience in Demand Planning, Forecasting, or Supply Chain Analytics
- Strong domain expertise in Retail, FMCG, or Consumer supply chains




- Proven experience in forecast modeling, accuracy measurement, and bias analysis
- Hands-on experience supporting S&OP; / IBP processes
- Solid analytical skills and data interpretation capabilities
- Experience working with cross-functional business teams
- Ability to communicate complex planning insights to stakeholders
- Experience working in Agile or project-based delivery environments

Education Qualification
