Role Overview:

We are looking for a data-driven Ad Optimization Specialist to improve the performance of digital advertising campaigns across retail and FMCG categories. The ideal candidate will have experience optimizing campaign effectiveness, analyzing advertising performance, and driving ROI through data backed recommendations. The role requires close collaboration with Category, Marketing, Brand, Sales, and Analytics teams to maximize campaign impact and revenue.

Key Responsibilities

- Monitor, analyze, and optimize digital advertising campaigns across retail and FMCG categories.
- Track campaign performance using key metrics such as CTR, CPC, CPM, ROAS, ROI, Conversion Rate, and Sales Lift.
- Develop actionable insights and recommendations to improve campaign efficiency and effectiveness.
- Partner with Category Managers, Brand Teams, and Marketing stakeholders to plan and optimize advertising strategies.
- Conduct A/B testing to improve creatives, audience targeting, placements, and campaign performance.
- Analyze customer behavior, sales trends,



and advertising effectiveness using data visualization and reporting tools.
- Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly performance dashboards for business stakeholders.
- Identify opportunities to increase advertising revenue while maintaining a positive customer experience.
- Collaborate with internal product and technology teams to implement optimization initiatives.
- Ensure campaign execution aligns with business objectives and advertiser expectations.
- Stay updated on industry trends, digital advertising platforms, and retail media best practices.

Required Skills

- Strong understanding of digital advertising and performance marketing.
- Experience in retail media, e-commerce advertising, or FMCG advertising optimization.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
- Experience with SQL for data extraction and analysis.
- Hands-on experience with BI tools such as Power BI, Tableau, or Looker.
- Knowledge of Google Analytics, Google Ads, Meta Ads Manager, or similar advertising platforms.
- Understanding of campaign attribution models and customer journey analysis.
- Ability to interpret large datasets and convert insights into business recommendations.
- Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills.

Preferred Qualifications

- Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Statistics, Economics, Engineering, or a related field.
- Certifications in Google Ads, Google Analytics, Meta Blueprint, or similar platforms are an added advantage.
- 4-6 years relevant experience working with Retail Media Networks, Marketplace Advertising, or Ecommerce platforms is preferred.
