Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced design professional and educator who can inspire and mentor students across Foundation programmes while bringing together academic excellence, industry expertise, and emerging digital design technologies. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in Design Thinking, UI/UX, digital design tools, and AI-enabled creative workflows to prepare students for evolving industry practices.

Key Result Areas

- Masters degree in design, Visual Communication, UI/UX, Multimedia, Interaction Design, or allied disciplines from a recognized institution. Ph.D. in a relevant discipline is preferred but not mandatory.
- 4–8 years of overall experience in academia and/or professional practice, with relevant industry experience in Design & Technology preferred.
- Prior teaching experience in Design, UI/UX, Digital Design, or allied disciplines is preferred.
- Ability to teach and mentor students across Foundation programmes through studio-based learning, workshops, lectures, and practical sessions.
- Strong expertise in Design Thinking, UI/UX fundamentals, user research, wireframing, prototyping, interaction design, and visual communication.
- Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, Premiere Pro, After Effects), Figma, Miro, and other digital design platforms.
- Ability to develop and continuously enhance curriculum, assignments, learning resources, and project briefs aligned with industry requirements.




- Demonstrated understanding of emerging technologies including AI-enabled design tools, AR/VR, motion graphics, and digital product design.
- Experience in conducting assessments, portfolio mentoring, design critiques, and providing constructive student feedback.
- Ability to establish industry collaborations through guest lectures, live projects, workshops, internships, and networking opportunities.
- Contribute to departmental research, exhibitions, innovation initiatives, and academic events.
- Familiarity with Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) is essential.
- Demonstrated awareness of Artificial Intelligence applications in design and education, or a robust willingness and ability to rapidly learn and integrate AI-enabled workflows into teaching and practice.
