Role & responsibilities

1. Procurement planning:

- Identify potential suppliers and products through market research.
- Evaluate and select suppliers based on quality, cost, service, and reliability.
- Prepare, negotiate, and award orders within strict timelines.

2. Supplier Management & Just-in-Time Delivery

- Develop and maintain solid relationships with key suppliers.
- Negotiate contracts, terms, and pricing with suppliers.
- Monitor supplier performance and resolve issues promptly.

3. Inventory Management

- Collaborate with inventory and store teams to optimize stock levels.
- Coordinate stock management and stock transfer reporting.
- Negotiate contracts, terms, and pricing agreements with suppliers to secure favourable terms

(one- time & Recurring)

4. Cost Management

- Implement cost-saving initiatives without compromising quality.
- Monitor procurement expenditure and develop standard operating procedures (SOPs).
- Maintain and analyse key indicators for continuous improvement.

Preferred candidate profile

- Bachelors degree in engineering (BE/B. Tech) in Mechanical/Electrical/Electronics
- 8+ experience in relevant industry
- SAP working experience
