Technical Sales Engineer Machine Tools (Work From Home)

Job Summary

We are looking for a dynamic and result-oriented Technical Sales Engineer with 34 years of experience in the Machine Tools Industry. The ideal candidate should possess strong technical knowledge of CNC Machines, VMCs, Sheet Metal Cutting Machines, Rotary Tables, Grinding Machines, and other industrial equipment, along with proven experience in technical sales, industrial sales, and B2B sales.

This role is ideal for candidates who enjoy customer interaction, technical selling, and business development while working independently in a work-from-home setup and managing customers across Bangalore or Pune.

Key Responsibilities

- Generate new business opportunities in the machine tools and industrial equipment segment.
- Identify and develop new customers in manufacturing industries, OEMs, and industrial sectors.
- Conduct client meetings, product demonstrations, presentations, and technical discussions.
- Understand customer requirements and recommend suitable machine tool solutions.
- Prepare techno-commercial proposals, quotations, and follow up until order closure.
- Negotiate commercial terms and successfully close sales opportunities.
- Build and maintain long-term customer relationships.
- Coordinate with internal teams for order execution, installation,



and after-sales support.
- Maintain an active sales pipeline and achieve assigned revenue targets.
- Submit regular sales reports, customer feedback, and market updates.

Required Candidate Profile

- Diploma / B.E. / B.Tech in Mechanical Engineering.
- 3–4 years of experience in Technical Sales, Industrial Sales, or Machine Tool Sales.
- Strong knowledge of:
- CNC Machines
- VMC (Vertical Machining Centres)
- Sheet Metal Cutting Machines
- Rotary Tables
- Grinding Machines
- Capital Equipment / Industrial Machinery

- Excellent communication, presentation, negotiation, and customer relationship management skills.
- Self-motivated with the ability to work independently in a remote setting.
- Willing to travel within the assigned territory (Bangalore or Pune) for customer meetings.

Preferred Industry Experience

Candidates from machine tool manufacturers, industrial equipment companies, automation companies, tooling companies, capital equipment manufacturers, or OEM sales backgrounds will be preferred.
