About the Role This isn t a typical Manager - Legal role

You will work on initiatives that genuinely transform how finance works in India, a type of work few roles offer

As the Manager - Legal (Litigation), you will be at the forefront of defending and advancing CoinDCX s legal interests in a rapidly evolving regulatory landscape

You will oversee and strategize complex litigation matters, consumer disputes, and interactions with law enforcement agencies (LEAs)

This role is critical in safeguarding our brand and ensuring our operations remain robust and compliant as we build the future of Web3 and crypto in India

What You ll Do Strategize end-to-end litigation strategy for civil, criminal, and consumer disputes across multiple jurisdictions

Partner cross-functionally with internal teams (Compliance, Finance, Operations) and external counsels to prepare robust legal defenses and representations

Manage responses and interactions with Law Enforcement Agencies (LEAs) and regulatory bodies,



ensuring timely and accurate submissions

Drive the resolution of customer grievances and pre-litigation matters to mitigate legal risks proactively

Own and maintain updated litigation tracking systems, providing actionable insights and risk assessments to the senior leadership

You ll Excel in This Role If You Think in first principles and act like an owner when evaluating legal risks

Thrive in ambiguity and build clarity from chaos in a fast-paced regulatory environment

Communicate with precision and empathy, especially when dealing with LEAs and external stakeholders

Have a bias for action and speed in addressing time-sensitive legal notices and court proceedings

Possess a solid background in handling commercial, criminal, and consumer litigation

Demonstrate cross-functional depth, understanding how legal risks interplay with product and business operations

Core Requirements 4 7+ years of core litigation experience Strong expertise in criminal litigation, with exposure to civil and consumer disputes

Proven experience in liaising with Law Enforcement Agencies (LEAs), particularly local police stations in Bangalore, and handling regulatory interactions





Background in law firms or chamber practice is preferred; relevantB2C litigation experience will also be considered

Demonstrated ability to independently manage end-to-end litigation, coordinate with external counsels, and provide practical, business-oriented legal advice

Excellent drafting, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to thrive in a fast-paced, evolving regulatory environment

You ll Know You re Winning When You ve successfully streamlined our litigation tracking and management processes to ensure zero missed deadlines or appearances

You re delivering consistently high-quality legal drafts, responses to LEAs, and internal advisories with minimal defects

You ve built strong relationships with external counsels to drive cost-effective and favorable resolutions for pending disputes

Your proactive interventions have measurably reduced the escalation of customer grievances into formal litigation
