Job Description Technical Architect (Manhattan Active WMS)
Role Summary: We are looking for an experienced Technical Architect with proven expertise in
Manhattan Active Warehouse Management (MAWM) implementations. The ideal candidate will
combine deep technical knowledge with strong consulting, solutioning, and client-facing
capabilities to lead large-scale digital warehouse transformation programs from pre-sales
through successful delivery.

Lead the end-to-end technical architecture and implementation of Manhattan Active WMS
across large and complex customer environments.
Conduct customer discovery workshops, capability demonstrations, and executive-level
solution presentations to articulate the value of Manhattan Active.
Dene implementation strategy, solution architecture, technical roadmap, integration
approach, and deployment plans aligned with customer business objectives.
Provide technical leadership throughout the program, ensuring adherence to architecture
standards, best practices, scalability, security, and performance.
Collaborate with business consultants, functional architects, integration teams, cloud
engineers, and customer stakeholders to deliver successful implementations.
Design and govern integrations with enterprise applications such as ERP, OMS, TMS,
automation systems, APIs, messaging platforms, and cloud services.
Lead technical estimations, solutioning, and delivery planning for large-scale
transformation programs.
Drive technical governance, code quality, design reviews, risk management, and issue




resolution throughout the implementation lifecycle.
Support customer go-live planning, hypercare, performance tuning, and production
stabilization.
Mentor development teams and establish implementation best practices and reusable
solution assets.
Pre-Sales & Solutioning Responsibilities

Lead technical solutioning for RFPs, RFIs, proposals, and customer pursuits involving
Manhattan Active WMS.
Dene solution architecture, implementation approach, delivery roadmap, eort
estimation, and technical dierentiators.
Partner with Sales and Account teams during customer pursuits, workshops, and executive
presentations.
Develop compelling technical proposals, architecture documents, and implementation
strategies for large transformation programs.
Position organization capabilities and best practices to build customer condence and
support deal closure.
Required Skills & Experience

10+ years of Supply Chain/WMS implementation experience, with signicant hands-on
(Minimum 2-3 years and at least 2 end to end Manhattan Active WMS implementations)
expertise in Manhattan Active WMS.
Proven experience leading multiple end-to-end Manhattan Active implementations in an




Architect or Technical Lead capacity.

Strong understanding of Manhattan Active architecture, conguration, extensibility, APIs,
integration patterns, event-driven architecture, and cloud-native deployment.
Robust understanding of Cloud-Native and SaaS architecture principles, including multi-
tenancy, scalability, resiliency, high availability, security, API-rst design, event-driven
architecture, and cloud operations.

Strong knowledge of REST APIs, microservices, cloud technologies, messaging, DevOps,
CI/CD, and integration frameworks and containerization concepts (Docker/Kubernetes)
relevant to cloud-native enterprise applications.

Experience integrating Manhattan Active with ERP, OMS, TMS, automation systems, and
enterprise platforms.
Demonstrated experience leading customer workshops, architecture discussions, and
executive stakeholder engagements.
Proven success in leading technical solutioning for large RFPs, proposals, and strategic
pursuits.

Excellent communication, consulting, stakeholder management, and presentation skills.
Ability to lead geographically distributed technical teams in a fast-paced delivery
environment.

Experience with warehouse automation integrations (MHE/WCS/WES).
Knowledge of Supply Chain, Distribution, Omni-channel Fullment, and Retail operations.
Preferred Qualications

Hands-on experience with cloud platforms (GCP).
Manhattan Active certications are highly desirable.
