Senior Financial MIS Analyst

Role Overview

We are looking for a detail-oriented finance skilled who can own end-to-end MIS reporting building dashboards, automating data pipelines, and delivering actionable insights to senior leadership on a daily / weekly / monthly basis. The ideal candidate is comfortable leveraging AI tools to enhance reporting speed and quality.

Key Responsibilities

- Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly Financial MIS reports covering P&L;, revenue, cost, and cash flow
- Consolidate data from multiple sources (ERP, CRM, billing systems) into structured Excel / Power BI dashboards
- Track budget vs actual variance and flag anomalies with commentary for management review
- Use AI tools (Claude, ChatGPT, Copilot) to automate commentary generation, data summarisation, and report drafting




- Maintain and improve reporting templates; automate repetitive tasks using Excel macros / VBA / Power Query
- Support monthly closing activities GL reconciliation, accruals, and ledger scrutiny
- Coordinate with business unit heads and Finance BP to ensure data accuracy and completeness
- Prepare presentations and data packs for board / investor / leadership reviews

Must-Have Skills

Advanced Excel (Pivot, VLOOKUP, macros)

- Power BI or Tableau
- AI tools — Claude, ChatGPT, Copilot
- Accounting / finance fundamentals
- Deadline-driven & high accuracy

Good to Have

- SQL (basic to intermediate)
- Python / VBA for automation
- SAP / Oracle / Tally ERP exposure
- CA Inter / MBA Finance / CMA
- FP&A; / budgeting experience
- Stakeholder management
