We are looking for an experienced Embedded Software Developer with hands-on expertise in ISO 26262 Functional Safety software development. The ideal candidate should have robust experience in Embedded C, AUTOSAR, and the software development lifecycle defined in ISO 26262 Part 6, including safety software design, implementation, verification, and validation.
This role is focused on software development for safety-critical automotive ECUs. Candidates with predominantly hardware safety, electrical safety, or validation-only backgrounds are not suitable.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop safety-critical embedded software using Embedded C/C++.
- Design, implement, and maintain software compliant with ISO 26262 Part 6.
- Derive and implement Software Safety Requirements (SSR) from Technical Safety Requirements (TSR).
- Develop software safety mechanisms for automotive ECUs.
- Participate in software architecture, detailed design, implementation, code reviews, and integration.
- Perform software verification, unit testing, integration testing, and regression testing.
- Ensure compliance with MISRA C coding guidelines.
- Work with AUTOSAR Classic Platform (ASW/BSW) where applicable.
- Maintain complete requirements traceability using DOORS or Codebeamer.
- Support ASPICE-compliant software development processes.
- Collaborate with system, integration, and validation teams throughout the software lifecycle.
