Role Overview

We are looking for an experienced Instrumentation Manager to lead instrumentation, automation, and process control activities in a 500 TPD automated food manufacturing facility. The role is responsible for ensuring high reliability of PLC, SCADA, MES, and field instrumentation systems while driving Industry 4.0, predictive maintenance, and continuous improvement initiatives.

Key Responsibilities

- Lead a team of 18+ Instrumentation Technicians, Automation Engineers, and SCADA/MES Specialists.
- Ensure 98%+ uptime of instrumentation and automation systems.
- Manage PLC, SCADA, DCS, MES, calibration, and industrial network systems.
- Drive predictive maintenance, process optimization, and automation upgrades.
- Lead troubleshooting of critical automation failures and provide 24x7 support.
- Manage automation projects from design to commissioning.
- Ensure compliance with IEC 61508/61511, GMP, HACCP, ISO 22000, and safety standards.
- Control maintenance budgets, vendor performance, and spare parts management.

Qualifications

- B.E./B.Tech or M.E./M.Tech in Instrumentation, Electronics,



or Electrical Engineering.
- PLC Programming Certification (Siemens, Allen-Bradley, or Schneider).
- Functional Safety Certification (Preferred).

Experience

- 10-15 years in instrumentation, automation, and process control.
- Minimum 5 years managing instrumentation and automation teams.
- Experience in food, FMCG, pharma, or highly automated manufacturing facilities.
- Hands-on exposure to PLC, SCADA, DCS, MES, and Industry 4.0 technologies.
