- Perform welding operations on boilers, conveyors, gas cutting equipment, and turbines to ensure optimal performance and safety.
- Conduct visual inspections of welds to identify defects or anomalies and take corrective action as needed.
- Collaborate with other team members to troubleshoot issues related to weld quality and implement improvements.
- Maintain accurate records of work performed, including documentation of repairs, maintenance schedules, and testing results.
Job Requirements :
- 1-10 years of experience in a similar role within the power industry.
- Proficiency in Boiler, Conveyors, Gas Cutting, TIG Welding (GTAW), SMAW (ARGONAUT) techniques.
- Solid understanding of mechanical principles and ability to read blueprints/drawings.
