Interior Designer AutoCAD Draughtsperson & 3D Visualizer

Nikis Nirvana is looking for a creative and technically skilled Interior Designer who can prepare detailed AutoCAD drawings, interior layouts and high-quality 3D visualisations.

The selected candidate will be employed directly by Nikis Nirvana and will work in close collaboration with Uforia Designs under the guidance of its lead Interior Architect. The candidate will initially work on the major upcoming development projects at Nikis Nirvana. During periods when the workload at Nikis Nirvana is lighter, the candidate may also assist Uforia Designs with its other residential, hospitality and interior design projects.

Key responsibilities

* Prepare accurate AutoCAD plans, elevations, sections and detailed working drawings.

* Create interior layouts, furniture layouts and space-planning drawings.

* Develop 3D models and realistic interior renders using SketchUp, Enscape or other rendering software.

* Convert design concepts and discussions into practical working drawings.

* Make revisions to drawings and renders based on design feedback.

* Assist with material, furniture, lighting and finish selections.

* Maintain properly organised drawing files, design references and project documentation.

* Coordinate with the Interior Architect, site team, contractors, vendors and other project stakeholders.

* Ensure that drawings are completed accurately and within the required deadlines.

* Attend project discussions and occasional site visits, including visits to Nikis Nirvana near Bhor, whenever required.

* Support Uforia Designs on its other projects when there is limited workload at Nikis Nirvana.

Required skills





* Proficiency in AutoCAD is essential.

* Working knowledge of SketchUp and Enscape, or another 3D modelling and rendering software such as Lumion, V-Ray or D5 Render.

* Ability to prepare clear and accurate interior working drawings.

* Basic understanding of interior materials, finishes, furniture and construction details.

* Good design sense, attention to detail and visualisation ability.

* Good communication and coordination skills.

* Ability to learn, accept feedback and manage project deadlines.

* Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively with the design and site teams.

Qualification and experience

* Diploma or degree in Interior Design, Interior Architecture, Architecture or a related field.

* Candidates with up to four years of relevant experience may apply.

* Freshers with strong software skills and a good academic or personal portfolio are also welcome.

* A portfolio containing AutoCAD drawings, interior layouts, 3D models or renders is required.

Employment arrangement

* Full time position on the payroll of Nikis Nirvana.

* The candidate will work under the design guidance of Uforia Designs.

* Primary work will be for Nikis Nirvanas upcoming projects, along with support for other Uforia Designs projects whenever required.

* Job location: Pune, with occasional project and site visits.
