We are looking for a dynamic Sales Manager to develop and execute sales strategies, lead a team of Sales Engineers, and build robust client relationships. This is a critical role in driving revenue growth and expanding our market presence in Electrical Panels, Automation, IoT, and Digitization.

Role & responsibilities

- Build long-term relationships with potential and existing customers
- Develop business strategies for growth
- Bring strong sales-technical skills to understand exact customer requirements
- Set and exceed sales goals for the team
- Manage tender processes on government/e-procurement portals for revenue generation
- Understand Automation/Electrical Panel products & services
- Handle price scheduling, budgeting, and tracking for the team
- Lead and track performance of a 510 member sales team
- Prepare weekly/monthly performance reports for the sales team
- Deliver client-specific sales presentations
- Track competitor products/OEMs and articulate our USPs
- Translate customer/Sales Engineer requirements into strong proposals
- Coordinate with Sales Engineering,



Design & Costing teams for enquiries
- Prepare, submit, and discuss technical proposals with clients
- Negotiate and communicate effectively for high-value orders
- Coordinate after-sales service with the Service department
- Manage payment follow-ups
- Plan and track Sales Engineers' customer visit schedules

Preferred candidate profile

- 57+ years in Sales/Business Development within Institutes, Industries, or related departments, with experience managing a 5–10 member engineering team
- Proven B2B sales and team management experience
- Market knowledge of Electrical Panels, Automation Solutions, Energy Saving Solutions & IoT products preferred
- Familiarity with ABB / Siemens / Schneider / Mitsubishi products preferred
- Knowledge of LT/HT Switchgear & Electrical Control Panels preferred
- Strong costing and taxation knowledge
- Diploma/B.Tech in Electrical/Electronics; MBA preferred
