Position Title: Production Supervisor

Level: Junior Staff

Reporting To: Production Head

Position Purpose

The Position is overall responsible for formulation & packing of agrochemical product.

Strategic Responsibilities

Strategic Responsibilities:

- System management related to plant operations.
- Maintain operation as per ISO standards.
- Maintain systems, guidelines, procedures and formats as per need.
- Ensure record keeping and its utilization for improvements.

Operational Responsibilities

Maintenance

Preventive maintenance & changeover of packing line equipment’s.

Preventive and breakdown maintenance of formulation, packing line.

HSE compliances as per designs.

System management related to plant maintenance

Maintain ISO systems

Maintain systems, guidelines, procedures and formats as per need

Ensure record keeping and its utilization for improvements.

Operational Excellence

Meeting Statutory and organizational requirements

Legal requirements related to packing.

Customer requirements and guidelines.

Proper utilization of existing resources & meet the required output.

Maintain the product quality & control on losses of RM/PM as per norms

Preparation of various reports and analysis

Perform analysis of data and implement action plan evaluated from cause analysis

Ensure secure practices in the function and people

Follow all company EHS policies, procedures, SOPs, and statutory requirements.

Use and ensure proper use of required Personal Protective Equipment (PPE).





Identify, report, and correct unsafe acts, unsafe conditions, and near misses.

Ensure compliance with Permit-to-Work (PTW), LOTO, and other safety systems.

Conduct and participate in toolbox talks, safety meetings, and trainings.

Report all incidents, near misses, injuries, and property damage immediately.

Participate in safety inspections, audits, risk assessments, and emergency drills.

Maintain good housekeeping standards and ensure a hazard-free workplace.

Stop any unsafe work and intervene when unsafe behaviors are observed.

Promote a positive safety culture and support continuous improvement in EHS

- Ensure smooth working of the shift to achieve high productivity and safety level
- Encourage supervisors/operators to participate in suggestion scheme

Education Qualification

B.Sc/M.Sc/B.Tech Mechanical/Chemical engineering

Work Experience

3-9 years of experience in production department

Industry to be Hired from

Chemical processed based industry like Agrochemicals, Pharmaceuticals, Fine / FMCG etc.

Functional Competencies

- Production Process Knowledge
- Knowledge of Inventory Management
- Knowledge and Experience in Quality Management Systems and conducting Quality Audits
- Knowledge of SAP
