As an Editor, you will be responsible for reviewing and improving written content to ensure accuracy, clarity, consistency, and overall quality. The role involves editing a wide range of materials, including articles, reports, books, marketing content, and other written documents.

Key Responsibilities:

- Review written material to ensure it is error-free, clear, and meets quality standards.
- Correct grammar, punctuation, spelling, syntax, and language-related errors to improve readability and flow.
- Ensure consistency in writing style, tone, formatting, and structure.
- Improve the structure, clarity, and logical flow of content by reorganizing sentences, paragraphs, or sections wherever necessary.
- Conduct fact-checking for non-fiction, academic, content to verify the accuracy of facts, references, sources, and data.
- Work closely with writers and content teams to develop ideas, strengthen narrative flow, and suggest revisions that enhance the overall quality of the content.
- Perform final proofreading before publication to identify and correct any remaining errors.
- Ensure all edited content is polished, professional, reader-friendly, and ready for publishing.
- Use AI tools and digital editing platforms to support grammar checking, proofreading, plagiarism detection, content improvement, formatting, research assistance, and productivity.
- Stay updated with modern AI-based writing and editing tools such as ChatGPT, Grammarly, QuillBot,



plagiarism checkers, and other content-enhancement tools.
- Review AI-generated content carefully to ensure originality, accuracy, proper tone, human readability, and alignment with publishing standards.

Required Skills

- Excellent command of English grammar, punctuation, spelling, and sentence structure.
- Strong proofreading and editing skills.
- Good understanding of content flow, clarity, tone, and readability.
- Attention to detail and ability to identify errors quickly.
- Basic knowledge of AI tools such as ChatGPT, Grammarly, QuillBot, plagiarism checkers, and other content-enhancement tools.
- Ability to review and refine AI-generated content professionally.
- Good communication and coordination skills.
- Ability to work independently as well as with a team.
- Basic computer knowledge and familiarity with MS Word, Google Docs, and online editing tools.
