Opening | Estimation Engineer Aerospace Manufacturing

We have an exciting prospect with a leading Aerospace & Defence Manufacturing company for the position of Estimation Engineer based in Mysore.

Location: Mysore
Experience: 7–10 Years
Industry: Aerospace / Defence Manufacturing / Precision Engineering
Department: Engineering

Role Involves:

- Reviewing RFQs, drawings, specifications & special process requirements
- Preparing cost estimates, manufacturing hours, cycle times & process routes
- Manufacturing feasibility assessment & technology/capability mapping
- Costing for sheet metal, machining, fabrication & aerospace assemblies
- Supporting NPI, FAI approvals & process development
- Driving Lean Manufacturing and cost reduction initiatives
- Developing costing databases and standard time libraries
- Working closely with Engineering, Manufacturing, Quality & Business Development teams
