Direct experience estimating U.S.-based residential construction projects is REQUIRED. Candidates without U.S. construction estimating experience will not be considered.

Responsibilities

- Prepare detailed estimates for ground-up residential construction projects.
- Perform accurate quantity takeoffs from architectural, structural, civil, and MEP drawings.
- Prepare labor and material cost estimates.
- Develop construction budgets by trade and scope.
- Prepare scopes of work for subcontractor bidding.
- Review subcontractor and supplier bids for completeness and accuracy.
- Perform bid leveling and identify scope gaps, exclusions, and discrepancies.
- Update estimates as drawings and project scopes change.
- Assist with value engineering and cost-saving opportunities.
- Maintain historical pricing and cost data.
- Coordinate with Project Managers, Procurement, and construction leadership.

Required Experience

- 3+ years of construction estimating experience.
- U.S.



residential construction estimating experience is mandatory.
- Experience with ground-up residential construction.
- Strong quantity takeoff and cost-estimating skills.
- Ability to read and interpret U.S. construction drawings and specifications.
- Understanding of U.S. construction trades, materials, terminology, and scopes of work.
- Experience with subcontractor bid analysis and bid leveling.
- Strong Excel skills.
- Experience with estimating/takeoff software such as Bluebeam, PlanSwift, STACK, or similar.
- Strong written and spoken English.
