- Lead the State IT function for Uttar Pradesh Operations, overseeing all technology systems supporting 108 Emergency Response Services Emergency Response Centres (ERC), dispatch, and field operations.
- Own the uptime, performance, and security of critical call-centre and dispatch systems (CAD/dispatch software, IVR/telephony, recording systems) that directly impact emergency response times.
- Manage GPS/vehicle-tracking systems across the ambulance fleet, ensuring real-time location accuracy, integration with dispatch, and coordination with the GPS Coordinator network across zones.
- Plan and manage the IT infrastructure (servers, networks, data centres/server rooms, connectivity/MPLS-VPN links) across the state HQ, zonal, and district offices.
- Drive implementation and support of MIS/data systems used for ops reporting — including workforce/position tracking, vehicle and shift data, and performance dashboards for Zone and Regional leadership.




- Ensure business continuity and disaster recovery planning for all mission-critical emergency response systems (24x7 uptime requirement).
- Manage vendor relationships for hardware, telecom/connectivity, GPS/AVL platforms, and software applications; negotiate SLAs and monitor vendor performance.
- Lead, mentor, and build a team of IT/system administrators and support engineers stationed across zones and districts.
- Ensure data security, backup, and compliance with organizational IT policies and applicable government/PPP (Public-Private Partnership) data-handling requirements.
- Partner with State Operations leadership (Ops Head, RMs, PMs) to translate ground-level operational needs into IT solutions, and provide regular status reporting to senior management.
- Drive digital transformation initiatives — automation of ops tracking/reporting, integration between GPS, dispatch, and MIS systems, and rollout of current tools across the state.
