A diversified financial services firm is hiring a Head of Merchant Banking to build and lead the vertical.

Key responsibilities:

- Identify, originate and execute merchant banking and capital market mandates across equity and debt
- Build relationships with promoters, corporate clients, PE and VC funds, institutional investors, family offices, HNIs and UHNIs and intermediaries
- Lead end-to-end execution across IPOs, SME IPOs, rights issues, preferential issues, QIPs, OFS, buybacks, delistings and debt placements
- Lead equity and debt syndication, leveraging relationships with PMS funds, AIFs, family offices, banks and NBFCs
- Facilitate investor roadshows and management meetings
- Build, mentor and lead a high-performing merchant banking team
- Ensure SEBI regulatory compliance and maintain high corporate governance standards

Candidate profile: 10+ years in merchant banking, investment banking, capital markets, corporate finance or transaction advisory. Demonstrated deal origination, execution and syndication track record, promoter and CXO-level relationships, and an established investor network across institutional and HNI segments. Entrepreneurial culture with significant growth potential.
