Job Summary

Title: Consultant, Field Medical Strategy and Operations (FMSO), GOSO, Commercial

Location: Bengaluru

Position

This position is within the Field Medical Strategy Operations (FMSO) organization, a centralized field medical team aiming to maximize the impact of Lilly's Field Medical community through standardized tools, innovation, and processes around the world. Our goal is to operationalize BU field medical strategy through the personal channel enabled by an expanding Field Medical India team within Lilly Bengaluru.

This is an execution-focused, hands-on Consultant role (P1) reporting to the FMSO Associate Director, working within a team that provides critical capabilities for Eli Lilly's Global Field Medical organization, including, but not limited to, AI/Automation Strategy Implementation, Field Medical Sizing Structure, Territory Alignment Design and Maintenance, Customer Segmentation Identification, Customer Maintenance Operations, Medical Engagement Planning, CRM Platform Support,



Field Call Planning and Refinement, and ad-hoc field analytical needs.

Key Accountabilities

Executional Excellence:

- Medical field AI strategy implementation including discovery, planning and execution support
- HCP/HCO call plan, alignment and refinement summary data handling for medical territory management
- US and Global field medical data analysis and management (HCP / HCO / KOL / Publication / Clinical Trial/H1/Engagement, etc.)
- Support Global Sizing, Alignment Territory Management for the team
- Drive AI strategy project execution for the team

Platforms AI Enablement:

- Strong understanding of Databricks, and Claude Platforms for build, configuration and integration
- Strong understanding of SQL, AWS/Redshift, MS Fabric, and Python/PySpark
- Contribute to Core Ops Optimization and GMAO AI agentification initiatives
- Contribute to pipeline delivery for medical insights analysis AI initiatives for scientific insights delivery
- Understand of medical data sources, HCP, HCO, PubMed, ClinicalTrials, MedComms, etc.
- Technical implementation for projects, platform maintenance, upgrades, and testing
- Support escalated field queries / T3 support

Minimum Qualification Requirements




- Bachelors Degree (preferably in Engineering, or related quantitative background) with 3 to 6 years of experience in Field Medical Operations, Pharma Analytics, or Field Strategy and Optimization
- Accountable with a passion for delivering results and a superior customer experience
- Knowledge and use of a variety of skills including (but not limited to) Databricks, Claude, Co-Pilot, and other AI tools, SQL, mCRM/VEEVA, AWS/Redshift, Python/PySpark, MS Fabric, and Excel, with understanding of the best tool for a given situation
- Working knowledge of Jupyter Notebook, Python, and Tableau or other visualization platforms
- Experience with HCP/HCO data management, loading/extraction, administration, interfaces, and analysis
- Ensure compliance with company policies and applicable state federal laws and regulations
- Ability to quickly analyse upstream and downstream impact for system changes

Other Information
- Robust interpersonal, communication, and analytical skills
- Works well in a team environment and on own initiative; comfortable operating hands-on/execution-first
- Experience in a pharmaceutical / field medical / commercial / sales or marketing operations team
- Speak and write fluent English; other languages are an asset
- Experience working effectively in cross-functional, global teams
