We are seeking a senior structural engineer who will be able to help us grow our design team in structures department with their technical expertise with having worked on overseas projects to international codes. You should have led buildings projects with multiple typologies from concept to detailed design stage. Your duty will be to design and manage UK projects from India (Gurgaon) while liaising with virtual team across the country and in the UK.
You must have a Master's degree in structures from an institute of repute. Experience of around 4-6 years but not necessarily in number of years but in developing ways of working in a structural-design- team though the lessons learned over years of practice. Basic knowledge of ETABS, ROBOT, ork and working with MS excel will be required. In depth knowledge of in-situ Concrete and Steel work design, commercial acumen and people managing skills are the qualities we are looking for.
Required knowledge and skills:
1.
Valuable understanding of Reinforced Concrete and Steel structures.
2. Knowledge of engineering techniques and design calculation principles.
3. Hands on experience of designing tools like Strusoft FEM, Idea Statica, Robot, etc.
4. Knowledge of applicable codes and standards preferably international codes like Eurocodes.
5. Experience in projects related to Buildings/Industrial steel structures.
6. Knowledge of Revit is must.
7. Ensure designs comply with international and local standards (e.g., Eurocodes, ACI, IS Codes, BS Codes).
