Role & responsibilities
Learning & Development
- Develop and implement the hospital's Learning & Development (L&D;) strategy.
- Prepare and execute the annual training calendar for all departments.
- Conduct Training Need Analysis (TNA) in coordination with department heads.
- Plan, organize, coordinate, and monitor induction, orientation, technical, behavioral, leadership, and mandatory training programs.
- Ensure timely completion of all mandatory hospital training programs.
Hospital Training Management
- Coordinate clinical and non-clinical training programs across all departments.
- Facilitate training sessions related to NABH standards, patient safety, infection prevention & control, fire safety, biomedical waste management, BLS/CPR, communication skills, customer service, and quality improvement.
- Coordinate with internal faculty and external trainers for specialized programs.
- Evaluate training effectiveness through feedback, assessments, and competency evaluations.
Compliance & Documentation
- Maintain complete training records, attendance, competency assessments, certificates, and MIS reports.
- Ensure compliance with NABH standards and statutory training requirements.
- Support accreditation audits by maintaining training documentation and evidence.
Employee Development
- Design employee development and skill enhancement initiatives.
- Promote a culture of continuous learning and professional growth.
- Support leadership development and succession planning initiatives.
- Recommend innovative learning methods, including e-learning and simulation-based training.
Coordination & Reporting
- Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual training reports for management.
- Manage training budgets, schedules, venues, and logistics.
Preferred candidate profile :-
- Strong presentation, facilitation, and public speaking skills.
- Ability to independently manage hospital-wide training functions.
- Experience in developing training modules, SOPs, presentations, and competency frameworks.
- Excellent interpersonal, coordination, and stakeholder management skills.
- Self-driven, proactive, and capable of working in a fast-paced healthcare workplace.
- Passionate about developing people and building a high-performance learning culture.
- Experience in a hospital or healthcare organization
