Job Summary

Wells Fargo is seeking a Systems Operations Engineer.

Responsibilities

- Participate in complex technical issues and initiatives related to large scale applications, systems, databases, or other technical products and services
- Identify opportunity for process improvements within technical support strategies and plans
- Review and analyze technical queries to extract data, create standard databases, or perform limited programming to fine tune systems supporting low to medium risk technical deliverables
- Present recommendations for resolving complex technical queries
- Exercise some independent judgment to analyze performance trends and recommend process improvements while developing understanding of technical process controls or standards
- Work as an internal consultant regarding use of tools and processes
- Provide information related to supported system area to functional colleagues, internal partners and stakeholders, including internal customers

Required Qualifications
- 2+ years of Systems Engineering experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, education

Desired Qualifications
- 3+ years of Linux Windows experience
- 3+ years of experience working with Relationship Database Management Systems (RDBMS) such as SQL Server, Oracle or MySQL
- 3+ years of support experience with Cloud applications likes Microsoft Azure, Pivotal Cloud Foundry or Amazon Web Services cloud
- 3 + years of experience implementing, supporting, or developing tools to integrate with Grafana and App Dynamics
- 3+ years of advanced scripting experience using Unix Shell Scripting, or Windows PowerShell and PL-SQL




- 3+ years of support experience with NDM and file transmission services
- 3+ year of Splunk experience
- Awareness / use of AI/ML technology
- Handson experience supporting enterprise application platforms in the areas of monitoring, scheduling, or observability (e.g., Autosys, Grafana, Splunk, Thousand Eyes, or equivalent).
- Experience in financial services
- Proven ability to triage complex production issues, perform root cause analysis, and drive issues to closure
- Knowledge and understanding of technology production support: fast paced dynamic customer facing application which requires high availability.
- Knowledge and understanding of technology support: high volume 24x7 mission critical systems
- Ability to take an active role in the education, mentoring and training of less experienced team members.
- Knowledge and understanding of PKIand SSL concepts; Experience supporting an enterprise-level environment
- Ability to interact with all levels of an organization, including management
- Strong verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills
