Wells Fargo is seeking a Senior Systems Operations Engineer
Responsibilities
In this role, you will:
- Lead or participate in managing all installed systems and infrastructure within the Systems Operations functional area
- Contribute in increasing system efficiencies and lowering the human intervention time on related tasks
- Review and analyze moderately complex operational support systems, application software, and system management tools to ensure the highest levels of systems and infrastructure availability
- Work with vendors and other technical personnel for problem resolution
- Lead team to meet technical deliverables while leveraging solid understanding of technical process controls or standards
- Collaborate with vendors and other technical personnel to resolve technical issues and achieve highest levels of systems and infrastructure availability
Required Qualifications
- 8+ years of Systems Engineering, Technology Architecture experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, education
Desired Qualifications
- University degree (B.E. / B.Tech) in Technology.
- Hands on experience of 8+ years in Production Support
- Hands on experience of 8+ years in Capital Markets, Autosys, ITIL, Oracle/ Unix or any other Database
- Self-starter with good verbal and communication skills
- Strong analytical and problem solving skills.
Job Expectations
- Good exposure to Incident Management Practices
- Experience on handling critical autosys batches
- Develops and analyzes complex autosys batches, Understand critical SLA and provide recommendations to minimize failures
- Work with the team on critical issues and drive Major incident calls
- Valuable Understanding of ITIL concepts
- Highly Proficient with Unix/Shell scripting
- Extremely Proficient in SQL
- Exposure to App Dynamics, Splunk, Remedy, Autosys, JIRA
- SME in ITRS Geneos, Grafana, SPLOC
- Banking domain exposure primarily in Asset Management
- Flexible for Rotational Shifts
