About the Role

We are hiring trade-skilled candidates into a structured Trainer role for our EPC (Electrician, Plumber, Carpente?Civil) and Painting categories. This role is built for candidates who are technically sound in their trade, can hold a room of frontline maintenance staff, and want to grow into a career in technical training and facilitation.

This role sits within the Learning & Development function, which trains, certifies, and upskills the operations and maintenance workforce that keeps OIS campuses running safely and reliably spanning electrical, plumbing, carpentry, civil and painting upkeep across branches.

Training Workplace

All training is delivered inside our Operations Training Lab, a zone-by-zone simulated environment built to mirror real campus electrical, plumbing, carpenter, civil and painting systems, with graded fault-simulation tiers. Trainees diagnose and repair simulated faults under supervision before ever working on live school infrastructure, so the Trainer's job is to run sessions and assessments entirely within this controlled lab setting rather than on active campuses.

Key Responsibilities

- Develop and deliver comprehensive training programs for maintenance staff in the Electrician, Plumber, Carpenter, Civil and Painting categories
- Continuously update training content and lab fault-scenarios to reflect the latest safety standards, materials, and company policies

- Design structured learning modules that equip staff with the skills, knowledge, and safety standards required for high-quality campus upkeep
- Conduct hands-on training sessions inside the simulated Operations Training Lab; ensure all trainees clear required skill benchmarks before working on live campus infrastructure
- Run regular refresher sessions to address recurring issues and improve on-floor performance
- Plan and manage daily training schedules and maintain lab infrastructure, tools, and fault-simulation rigs

Who Should Apply

- ITI / Diploma holders in Electrical, Plumbing, Civil or Painting trades, or B.Tech graduates with hands-on trade exposure
- Comfortable holding a room, prior on-the-job coaching, supervisory, or demonstration experience is a plus
- Coachable, with a track record of applying feedback quickly
- Enjoys explaining technical procedures and simplifying complex fault-diagnosis steps
- Energetic and resilient, comfortable with repeat, high-load delivery schedules across branches

What You'll Gain

- Structured, hands-on path to becoming a certified Trainer
- Direct coaching from certified lead trainers inside a fully-equipped simulated lab
- Opportunity to build deep, cross-trade expertise across EPC and Painting categories
- Foundational skills in technical facilitation, fault-diagnosis pedagogy, and content delivery
- A career track in Learning & Development / Operations Training
