Skills Required:

- 34 years of hands-on experience developing and maintaining Workato integrations in a production setting
- Strong command of REST and SOAP APIs — including WSDL, OpenAPI/Swagger, pagination, rate limiting, and OAuth 2.0 / JWT authentication
- Proficiency in JSON, XML, XPath, and data transformation; solid working knowledge of Workato formula language
- Proven experience integrating enterprise systems — ERP (NetSuite, Oracle Fusion Cloud, SAP, Microsoft Dynamics), CRM (Salesforce, HubSpot), or similar
- Solid understanding of error-handling patterns, retry logic, and exception management in iPaaS workflows
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, or equivalent practical experience
- Strong written and verbal communication — equally comfortable explaining an integration design to an engineer or a business stakeholder





Preferred / Nice to Have

- Workato Automation Pro I / II / III certification (Workato Integration Developer Curriculum) (strongly preferred)
- Experience with Workato API Platform, callable recipes, lookup tables, and custom connectors
- Ruby scripting proficiency for custom connector logic, data transformations, and formula extensions
- Python or JavaScript experience for data processing, transformation scripts, or complementary tooling
- Cloud platform experience: GCP, AWS, or Azure — particularly event-driven patterns (Pub/Sub, SQS, Event Grid)
- Familiarity with procurement, source-to-pay, or supply chain business processes
- Experience building customer-facing integration products, not just internal automation tooling
- Exposure to agentic AI workflows, LLM APIs, or intelligent automation platforms
