Summary

A statistical programmer is a specialized professional who bridges computer programming and statistics to analyze and report data, primarily in clinical trials. Using languages like SAS, R, or Python, they create datasets, tables, figures, and listings (TFLs) to support regulatory submissions and clinical research.

Experience and Salary:

> 4 to 10 years of experience - 8 LPA to 12 LPA

> 10 to 15years of experience - 18 LPA to 25 LPA

Job Location:

> Pune / Bangalore / Noida

Key Skills:

- At least 4 year of experience as statistical programmers for a compound/indication or therapeutic area with minimum 1 year of team handling experience
- Ability in creation and validation of analysis datasets, tables, listings, and figures
- Experience in generating and validating ISS and ISE reports
- Ability to develop and test reusable standard SAS programs
- Proficiency in SAS macro development for automation of routine tasks
- Any Graduate

Key Responsibilities:

- Leads the statistical programming activities for a compound/indications.
- Leads a team of statistical programmers and manages the resource planning for assigned staff.
- Ensures timely deliverables, that all quality processes are followed and consistency within the projects.




- Develops and oversees the development of SAS programs for the creation of ADaM data sets following CDISC standards.
- Develops and oversees the development of SAS programs for the creation of Tables, Listings and Figures.
- Ensures consistency of ADaM data sets for individual studies and integrated data.
- Creates documentation for regulatory filings including reviewers guides and data definition documents.
- Leads the development of standard SAS Macros and participates in the development of standard operating procedures.
- Provides oversight and mentoring of assigned Statistical Programmers, Statistical Analysts and Senior Statistical Analysts.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Solid knowledge of clinical trial lifecycle & drug development process
- Good to have experience in other statistical programming languages (R).
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Ability to manage priorities and work under tight deadlines
- Cross-functional collaboration skills
- Effort estimation and project planning for programming activities
- Experience with regulatory submissions/filings
- SAS programming expertise (ADaM, TFL, statistical analysis)
- Expertise in CDISC standards (ADaM, SDTM)
- Therapeutic area knowledge (Oncology, Immunology, Neuroscience, etc.)
